Joy Behar Wonders if Trump Will Pay ‘Hush Money’ to American Flag He Groped at CPAC

Ahead of his meandering speech at CPAC on Saturday, President Trump got up close and personal with an American flag. On Monday’s episode of The View, Joy Behar verbalized what everyone who witnessed the display was thinking:

“Please, he hugged that flag — if he did any closer, hugging that flag, he would have to pay it hush money.”

She’s not wrong.

Her point assumes anyone would take on the task after what happened to the last guy to handle hush-money payments for women involved with Trump

Behar noted that, based on this speech, Trump seems to think he’s a standup comic. Which would actually help him fit right in with other standup comics who have had their #MeToo moments in the past year.

The View also showed moments of the speech where Trump mocked his former attorney general, Jeff Sessions, over his recusing himself from the Russia investigation.

“Just when you think he can’t get any lower,” she noted, “he gets lower.”
