Lindsey Graham Snaps At CNN’s Dana Bash Over Iraq: ‘That’s A Bunch Of Bullshit!’

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union this morning, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) worked a bit blue when guest host Dana Bash brought up some facts over Obama-era Iraq troop withdrawal that he didn’t like.

Following President Donald Trump’s announcement that the United States will be quickly pulling out all of its troops in Syria, Graham — a man who has yet to meet a war he doesn’t love — has pushed back on the move, saying that it will be a “stain on the honor” of America.

During his interview today, Graham was asked if “ISIS reconstitutes itself after the U.S. Leaves, does President Trump bear responsibility,” stating that “everything we’re dealing with today falls on Obama’s watch” because “he is the one who withdrew from Iraq.”

“He did it because there was — that was the status of forces agreement in Iraq, right?” Bash pointed out, referencing the agreement hashed out during the last year of George W. Bush’s presidency.

“No. That’s a bunch of bullshit!” Graham snarled as Bash was taken aback. “Pardon my French. That’s an absolute lie!”

The CNN host wondered aloud if history didn’t actually happen as Graham continued, stating that Obama wanted to “get to zero” and that he said back in 2011 that he hoped the president was right but that he feared “this decision will come back to haunt us.” He went on to blame the withdrawal of troops from Iraq for the rise of ISIS.

The Republican lawmaker went on to say that Trump was “dealt a bad hand by Obama” and needs to play it better moving forward, praising the president for keeping troops in Iraq.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time ol’ Lindsey has used TV-PG language during a cable news hit. In fact, he has a habit of saying “shit” when appearing on CNN.
