Laura Ingraham: Trump Folks Getting Harassed Is Just Like What We Saw ‘In The Racist South’
Fox News’ primetime lineup was laser-focused Tuesday night on the whole civility debate that has engulfed the national press in the wake of several Trump administration figures and allies being publicly harassed and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) calling for additional harassment. When it was Laura Ingraham’s turn to tackle the issue, she decided to make a direct comparison between Sarah Sanders only getting an appetizer and the Jim Crow South.
“What we see is the targeting of individuals — this is different,” the conservative commentator declared. “It’s the targeting of individuals. Putting a wanted poster up in a neighborhood. Telling people to crowd around other people.”
After saying she said it was okay to debate and disagree with the other side on certain issues, Ingraham reiterated that she was concerned about the “targeting,” adding that she felt it was “scary.”
And then we got the ‘Trump folks are just like blacks in the Deep South back in the day’ comparison.
“Because when you get crowds of people around an individual in a public — doesn’t matter if it’s a public place,” she said. “If they feel another person is subhuman — I mean, we saw this in the racist South! People were considered subhuman.”
Ingraham continued, “And they felt like they could do anything to black America. Now, you get the sense that we’re in that really scary place now. That to me is terrifying!”
Yep, Pam Bondi not getting to see a Mr. Rogers movie and Kirstjen Nielsen being yelled at during a meal at a Mexican restaurant is just like black folks being lynched.
And, mind you, the whole reason why Team Trump is taking heat out on the streets is due to the fact that the administration pushed a policy that resulted in thousands of migrant children being torn from their families.
