Wait, What?! Rudy Giuliani Says Trump Repaid Michael Cohen The Stormy Daniels Hush Money
Holy crap!
On Wednesday night, Fox News host and loyal Trump ally Sean Hannity hyped up an hour-long interview with new Trump attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. However, when Rudy got on the set, things didn’t go as well as planned.
While much of the conversation revolved around how the Mueller investigation was a “witch hunt” and how James Comey was a “very perverted man,” things went awry for Sean when he brought up the Steele dossier. And it somehow led to Giuliani claiming the president repaid Michael Cohen for the Stormy Daniels hush agreement.
Making some kind of point that the money paid to Daniels wasn’t a campaign finance violation, the ex-mayor exclaimed that he was telling Hannity something he didn’t know.
“They funneled it through the law firm,” Giuliani said. “And the president repaid it.”
“Oh, he did,” a shocked Hannity blurted, realizing that Rudy had just blown up a major Trump talking point.
Giuliani further explained that he didn’t think that the president knew about the specifics of the Stormy situation but that he knew about the “general arrangement” that Michael Cohen would take care of it.
Watch the clip below.
Giuliani says Trump's payment to Stormy Daniels was legal because it didn't come from campaign funds.

And here’s video of Trump last month telling reporters he didn’t know about the $130,000 payment:
