Roseanne Barr Goes Full Racist While Attacking Former Obama Advisor Valerie Jarrett
It is no longer a secret that legendary sitcom star Roseanne Barr is a conspiracy theorist who uses her social media accounts to peddle some of the wildest and nuttiest plots from the most extreme fringes of the right. But even with her penchant for tossing around QAnon and MKUltra memes now a known thing, her recent tweets attacking former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett and Chelsea Clinton raised a lot of eyebrows.
Barr, who recently had the revival of her classic ABC show Roseanne renewed for a second season, went after Jarrett in a late-night tweet, claiming the African-American woman looked like she was what would happen if “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby.”

Seriously, a well-known comedian with a highly-rated network sitcom just casually tossed off a blatantly racist insult like it was nothing. When called out on it on Tuesday morning, she defended herself, claiming it was just a joke and that “Muslims r NOT a race.”
It's a joke-

The Jarrett attack was only part of a series of inflammatory and flagrantly outlandish tweets Barr shot out over the past day or so. Targeting Chelsea Clinton, Barr claimed that Hillary Clinton’s daughter was married to the nephew of the right’s greatest boogeyman — George Soros.

soros' goal; the overthrow of us constitutional republic by buying/backing candidates 4 local district attorney races who will ignore US law & favor 'feelings' instead-and call everyone who is alarmed by that 'racist'.

On Tuesday morning, Chelsea Clinton responded on Twitter, pointing out that she is not married to any of Soros’ nephews though she imagines they are lovely people. She also defended the work Open Secrets does. Barr replied by “apologizing” for spreading misinformation.
Good morning Roseanne – my given middle name is Victoria. I imagine George Soros’s nephews are lovely people. I’m just not married to one. I am grateful for the important work @OpenSociety does in the world. Have a great day! https://t.co/mXokiTEwN7

One has to wonder what ABC executives are thinking when they see these tweets from Barr. They’ve essentially ignored her nutty conspiracy peddling for months now while seemingly hoping she’d tone it down as her show has experienced success over the past few months. However, now that she’s pumped up the racism while dancing around anti-Semitism with the Soros attacks, can they continue to turn a blind eye?
UPDATE: Barr deleted the offending tweet, apologized for her “bad joke,” and claimed she “leading Twitter.” Barr has said before she would quit the social media platform before quickly backtracking, so we’ll see how long this lasts.
I apologize. I am now leaving Twitter.

I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.
