Donald Trump: Hillary Clinton Will Bring In 650 Million Immigrants

Trump has made a huge claim about immigration

Donald Trump has claimed repeatedly that if Hillary Clinton wins the White House, she will accept more Syrian refugees and allow more immigrants into the country. Trump claims Clinton is in favor of open borders . Now, the Republican candidate has said Clinton will bring in a huge number of immigrants.

Trump told a rally in Colorado that Clinton would allow 600 million immigrants into the United States. That’s more than twice the US population. The idea that such a huge number of immigrants could enter the country just isn’t credible. There aren’t that many people trying to get into the US.

“But she wants open borders,” Trump told a crowd of supporters. “ou saw that during the debate. WikiLeaks got her again. She never talked about open borders. She wants open borders. We could have 600 million people pour into our country. Think of it. Once you have open borders like that, you don’t have a country anymore.”

Later, Trump decided that 600 million immigrants was a low estimate. “She wants to let people just pour in,” Trump said. ““You could have 650 million people pour in and we do nothing about it. Think of it. That’s what could happen. You triple the size of our country in one week.”

Trump is correct that an extra 650 million people would triple the US population but there is no evidence that Clinton would seek to bring in a huge number of immigrants. The idea that Clinton wants immigrants to outnumber US citizens by two to one is simply not credible.
