Sean Hannity Claims That The Black Lives Matter Movement Is Just Like The Ku Klux Klan

During Wednesday night's broadcast of 'Hannity,' the Fox News host complained about the Democrats agreeing to a town hall forum hosted by BLM.

If there is one group that Fox News and conservatives love to denigrate and paint in a negative light, it is the Black Lives Matter movement. Whether it is Bill O’Reilly’s constant rantings against the loosely-organized group or Fox & Friends hosts race-baiting to their hearts’ content, the network loves making it appear that the activist movement is a racist organization that just wants to see cops killed. One of the loudest voices on the channel when it comes to criticizing black people looking for social justice is square-headed Cabela’s model Sean Hannity.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Democratic National Committee agreed to hold a presidential town hall forum that will be hosted by members of the protest organization. The DNC has been reticent to add any additional debates to the schedule, something that has pissed off some candidates, but allowed the additional forum due to pressure mounted by BLM. Also, prominent activists pushed Democrats to have an event where specific issues concerning the black community would be addressed by those seeking election.

All this seems logical, especially considering that blacks make up a large block of Democratic voters. However, this also meant that we were going to have to hear the whinging from white right-wing pundits who shout “All Lives Matter!” and call the BLM movement a bunch of racist cop killers. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Hannity compared #BlackLivesMatter to the Ku Klux Klan while talking about the upcoming town hall.

From the transcript of the show:

“Democratic candidates pledging their support to the Black Lives Matter movement at the debate. But that doesn’t appear to be enough for this radical movement. They’re now demanding an opportunity for their very own presidential debate, and according to The Washington Post, the DNC reportedly allowing the quote, “Black Lives Matter” group to host a presidential town hall. Really? … Your Democratic Party, not all lives matter, black lives matter. Your Democratic Party is going to allow the “pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon” group to host a Democratic forum? What’s wrong with your party? Don’t you find that — why don’t you let the Klan host a party?”

And the Republican Party wonders why they never get more than 10% of the black vote.
