Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Wonders Why Indoor Dining Is ‘Mysteriously Postponed’ While Reporting on Coronavirus Rise

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade seemed puzzled on Wednesday about a delay in reopening indoor dining. While also reporting on a new rise in cases of Coronavirus amid a global pandemic, the Fox & Friends host wondered aloud why indoor dining wasn’t happening yet.

“As some states report a rise in COVID-19 cases, plans for indoor dining mysteriously postponed,” Kilmeade said, leading into a segment with a restaurant owner.

Kilmeade has consistently questioned the public safety measures put in place to tackle Covid-19. Like some of hos Fox News colleagues, Kilmeade has chastised state governments that have imposed restrictions and called for the end of lockdown.

President Donald Trump has likewise downplayed the dangers of the virus, even holding large scale events in states suffering outbreaks of the disease. The Fox & Friends host has defended the President’s position, however.

Coronavirus cases look set to continue to rise in the United States as public health measures such as social distancing and mask wearing have become partisan issues. Some Republicans have attempted to tackle this difficulty.
