Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Defends Brett Kavanaugh While Touting Sexual Assault Allegation Against Biden

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade highlighted an allegation of sexual assault against former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday and discussed former President Bill Clinton’s ‘victims’ while at the same time dismissing allegations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“Overall Joe Biden is benefiting from not having a campaign,” Kilmeade said. “He had a hideous year. The more people that saw him the less they liked him. They consolidated around him after [Rep. Jim] Clyburn, as everybody knows and they said we have no other choice. Let’s go with him. We’ll prop up people around him.”

“The big story is what’s simmering underneath that’s that 1993 allegation about sexual assault from Tara Reade,” Kilmeade said, going on to list those who backed up Reade’s allegation.

“She put this out yesterday to Fox: ‘I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. I voted for her in the primary. I’m a lifelong Democrat but yet what I see now is someone enabling a sexual predator.'”

“Let’s add to that, everyone’s writing about it. This is the shoe on other foot disease. Remember the Republicans were very aggressive against Bill Clinton. They said ah-ha now you want us to pull back when it comes to Kavanaugh.”

“Obviously distinct differences. One happened in high school and they say it didn’t happen. With Bill Clinton you had actually victims in people like Monica Lewinsky.”

“But now it’s shoe on the other foot. It was just two years ago when Democrats were coming out and saying women have to be believed.”

“I look at Meghan McArdle in the The Washington Post today. She said: ‘For those who’ve insisted Kavanaugh must go, it’s hard to argue mercy now without saying the painful words I was wrong back then.’ Good luck with that Democrats. You can’t duck that forever.”

Fox News worked hard to defend Kavanaugh from sexual assault allegations against him, while the several former personalities at the network were credibly accused of inappropriate behavior, leading to them leaving their jobs and Fox paying settlements.
