‘Fox & Friends’: ‘It’s Fun’ Watching Democrats ‘Tearing Each Other Apart’

The hosts of Fox & Friends were enjoying the recent clash between Senator Bernie Sanders and Democratic strategist James Carville on Friday. The shows frequently acts as if the 2016 Republican primaries were not bitter and divisive, and Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt were keen to ignore that fact again.

After showing footage of Sanders calling Carville a ‘political hack’, the hosts gleefully weighed in.

“You know what’s so great?” Kilmeade said. “I love the way he says with all due respect, I think you’re a terrible, horrible person. You don’t start a statement with all due respect, you’re a political hack. There’s no respect there, Bernie, OK? Comb your hair.”

Doocy praised Carville for responding ‘in an epic way’ and Earhardt suggested that some people who had never agreed with him were doing so now.

“Even the President must have been, hey, that was good,” Kilmeade said. “I kinda like that. I don’t have to play a part in this. But real quick, when you look at the Democratic Party, as expected, they’re going at each other. But the way – the vigor with which they’re doing it is astounding. Elizabeth Warren going after Bloomberg. Bloomberg trying to defend his record. Sanders going after Bloomberg. You have Carville and Sanders.”

“They’re all going after each other, tearing each other apart,” Kilmeade went on to say.

“I know. Politics. It’s so fun to go through this process,” Earhardt agreed.
