Kellyanne Conway Refuses to Say if Lev Parnas’ New Allegations Are True or False

Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway refused to confirm or deny the allegations made by indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas on Thursday. Over the course of interviews with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Parnas implicated President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and other administration officials in the plot to dig up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden through a quid pro quo with Ukraine.

Conway appeared on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom and was asked repeatedly if Parnas’ allegations were false.

“People who go on TV are never under oath,” Conway said. “This is someone who hadn’t come forward on his own volition. He was arrested and then indicted on some pretty serious charges. When you have the Vice President’s chief of staff, my colleague Marc Short, this morning saying that the Democrats own witnesses in the House, completely subvert and undercut what Parnas is saying here about the VP, you have the Attorney general spokesperson saying 100% false when asked by the Maddow show to comment. I think that speaks for itself.”

Conway went on to criticize Democrats among others, but Fox’s Bill Hemmer asked the question again.

“I understand what you’re saying. Are you saying flat out, 100%, what he alleges is not true? Yes or no?” he asked.

“When Lev Parnas says, speaking of the court of law, when he said the President knew all of my moves, he gave consent — objection!” Conwa said. “You cannot say what someone else knew or thought. You can’t do that. This is a TV — that was a TV show, not a court of law.”

Conway continued speak, deflecting back to the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton and the Mueller investigation until Hemmer again asked her if Parnas’ allegations were true or false. However, Conway continued to avoid the question and Fox’s Sandra Smith was forced to ask for a ‘yes or no’ answer. She didn’t get one.

The Fox News hosts asked Conway four times if the allegations were true and she refused to give them a straight answer.
