‘Fox & Friends’ Call Kanye West A Vessel of God: ‘Our Country Needs This’

Fox & Friends lavished praise on Kanye West yet again on Tuesday morning. Just hours before the next public hearings on impeachment, Fox News’ flagship morning show devoted a segment to claiming West was one of  God’s vessels who was leading a spiritual awakening.

Fox News contributor Lawrence Jones told the Fox & Friends hosts that he has been trying to get Sean Hannity to listen to West’s music for years before claiming West was doing God’s work.

“God uses vessels and Kanye was a vessel. If the Kanye story, if Kanye didn’t exist before this, he wouldn’t be able to be that vessel to lead all these kids to Christ. I think it’s a powerful message,” Jones said.

After a back and forth about West liking Jones’ jacket, co-host Ainsley Earhardt agreed with Jones about West’ importance. Earhardt has frequently pushed the need for a Christian revival on the show.

“This is really exciting. Our country needs this. You need God,” Earhardt said.

“It’s a spiritual awakening,” Jones said.

“Yes it is,” Earhardt agreed.

“Everybody’s criticizing him,” Jones said. “Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. He may make some mistakes, that’s part of being a Christian. You get back up and do it again.”

“We all back slide and God brings us back,” Earhardt said.

“Amen to that,” co-host Steve Doocy agreed.
