Trump: ‘Paul Ryan Was a Terrible Speaker’ and a ‘Baby’

President Trump took another swipe at former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan during a press gaggle on the South Lawn of the White House on Friday morning.

Not content with his Thursday tweetstorm blaming Ryan for practically everything short of killing the Lindbergh baby, Trump blasted the former Speaker over his allegedly failing to give the president money to build his precious wall on the southern border.

“The wall is being built. The wall is being built. We had a couple of good decisions. We had one bad decision. It’s very tough. Again, Paul Ryan let us down. Paul Ryan was a terrible speaker. Frankly, he was a baby. He didn’t know what the Hell he was doing. The wall let us down.”

As the crew of Morning Joe said of Ryan on Friday morning, it does not matter how much you suck up to Trump. He will still find a way to bully and insult you if you do not get him everything he wants, even if the circumstances are not completely in his control.

The funny If you listen closely around the 1:43 mark, you will hear a reporter say that he asked Trump a question about Iran, not the wall. Trump is still so steamed about Ryan’s comments in reporter Tim Alberta’s new book that he immediately found a way to make a completely unrelated question about the former Speaker.

It would have been fun to see how he blamed Ryan for the mess with Iran, though.
