Trump Reacts to New York Times’ Apology for Antisemitic Cartoon: ME ME ME

Last week the international edition of The New York Times ran a syndicated editorial cartoon featuring Donald Trump wearing a yarmulke and holding a dog with Israeli prime minister Bibi Netanyahu’s face by its leash.

The overt antisemitism caused outrage and prompted the Times to issue an apology for running the cartoon. The paper also promised to investigate how its selection and editing procedures broke down and allowed the cartoon to run in the first place.

Naturally, President Trump has identified the biggest victim of all in this upsetting incident of antisemitic slander: himself.

The president didn’t point out exactly what “Fake” news the paper has printed for which he thinks he deserves an apology. But that doesn’t matter. All his defenders hear is him taking on the allegedly liberal New York Times, and that is enough.
