Lou Dobbs Loses It Over Judge’s ‘Absurd Ruling’ To Reinstate Jim Acosta’s Press Credentials

Lou Dobbs, perhaps the most loyal MAGA warrior among Fox’s myriad of Trump boosters, is pissed off that CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta is going to be allowed to step foot on White House grounds again.

Shortly after Judge Timothy J. Kelly, who was appointed by President Trump, ruled that the White House had likely violated Acosta’s due process rights when they revoked his hard pass and ordered the administration to reinstate his press credentials, the Fox Business host lashed out on Twitter.

“Outrageously puerile reasoning and ruling: Our district courts are filled with farcical excuses for judges,” Dobbs wrote while linking to a Fox News story on the decision.

“Judge Kelly’s absurd ruling cites a 1977 precedent that doesn’t relate to disruptive conduct in briefings or the WH itself,” he added in another tweet. “Kelly’s precedent goes to political motives, or unspoken motives, or partisan differences for denial of credentials. Not relevant to this case. #MAGA”

That #MAGA tag is just *Italian chef kiss*.

While Fox News has publicly supported CNN’s lawsuit against the administration and filed an amicus brief, Dobbs has remained outspoken in his criticism of Acosta and CNN while backing the administration’s decision to block the reporter.

Judge Kelly noted that his ruling was “very limited” and he had “not determined that the First Amendment was violated here.” CNN’s lawsuit, therefore, remains active and Kelly will address the other issues raised in later sessions. In the meantime, Acosta’s credentials have been temporarily reinstated.

After the ruling came down, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders released a statement that said the White House would “further develop rules and processes to ensure fair and orderly press conferences in the future.”

“There must be decorum at the White House,” she added.
