Trump Calls Military And Police Fascists: They’re The ‘Opposition’ To Anti-Fascists

In an interview seemingly aimed at combating recent reports that he’s in a “cocoon of bitterness and resentment” over the bad midterm results for Republicans, President Donald Trump sat down with the Tucker Carlson-founded Daily Caller today.

And he somehow ended up calling the military and police fascists.

Speaking with White House reporter Saagar Enjeti and serial plagiarist Benny Johnson, last week’s protest at Tucker’s house was brought up. Just to recap, a group of anti-fascist activists demonstrated outside Carlson’s home and spray-painted an anarchy symbol on his driveway. The Fox News host claimed that his front door was cracked because people were throwing themselves against it while his wife called 911 while hiding in the kitchen pantry, He further noted that one of the activists threatened to come back with a pipe bomb. The police report doesn’t mention either a cracked door or pipe bomb threat, raising questions that Carlson embellished many of the details of the incident.

Saying that “Tucker’s a great guy” and that it was “terrible” that the protesters “were actually trying to break down” Carlson’s door, Trump warned Antifa that they’ll “be in big trouble” if the “opposition” decides to mobilize against them.

And who’s the opposition?

“Because if you look, the other side, it’s the military. It’s the police. It’s a lot of very strong, a lot of very tough people,” he stated. “Tougher than them. And smarter for them. They’re sitting back and watching and they’re getting angrier and angrier.”

I’m sure law enforcement and our fighting men and women will appreciate being painted as fascist forces.
