Trump Complains That Media Didn’t Blame Obama For Charleston Church Massacre

Over the past week, the nation has witnessed both an unhinged Trump supporter mailing over a dozen pipe bombs to high-profile Democrats and CNN and a virulent anti-Semite killing 11 Jews in a mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue after raging online about the migrant caravan. During an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, the president insisted his overheated rhetoric had nothing to do with either situation.

Instead, he wanted to know why Bernie Sanders didn’t get his name placed in the headlines after the Congressional Baseball shooting and President Barack Obama wasn’t connected to the Charleston church massacre.

Yes, you read that right. Trump seriously wondered why Obama wasn’t blamed by the media for a white supremacist shooting up a black church.

“He was insane a long time before — you look at his medical records, he was insane for a long time,” Trump told Ingraham when asked about mail bomber Cesar Sayoc. (The Fox News host helped set it up by saying he is obviously insane.)

He quickly pivoted to Bernie and the baseball shooter while complaining about the media coverage of these recent terror incidents. “Bernie Sanders had a fan who shot a very good friend of ours, Steve Scalise. and other people. He was a total maniac. Nobody puts his name in the headline, Bernie Sanders, in the headline.”

After tossing out Sanders’ name some more while whining about his personal media coverage, the president brought up his predecessor.

“They didn’t do that with the Democrats want other people came out,” the leader of the free world exclaimed. “They didn’t do that with President Obama with the church, the horrible situation with the church. They didn’t do that. They put my name in the headlines.”

Obviously, it is mind-boggling why media outlets wouldn’t seek to blame the first black president for a racially-motivated shooting by an avowed racist.
