‘This Is An Invasion!’ Newt Gingrich Warns Civilization Will End If Migrant Caravan Come Across Border

Over the past few days, President Donald Trump, Republican politicians, and conservative media have used the optics of a caravan of thousands of Honduran migrants to push fearmongering talking points that “open border” Democrats are going to allow a horde of brown immigrants to invade the United States and destroy American culture.

With right-wing pundits looking to outdo each other when it comes to scaring white conservatives, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich decided to up the ante Friday night by warning we could see the end of civilization as we know it if the caravan is allowed to enter the United States.

“This is an invasion,” the Fox News contributor said during an appearance on The Ingraham Angle. “This is an act of attacking the United States’ sovereignty.”

After host Laura Ingraham praised the Mexico government for its efforts to stop the caravan from entering Mexico, Gingrich sounded the alarm bell on what he said would be the impact if they arrive and are allowed to enter the United States.

“This is going to be a crisis,” Gingrich exclaimed. “You can’t have thousands and thousands and thousands of people decide to break the law and have any expectation that civilization is going to withstand it.”

Gingrich’s alarmist and race-baiting take largely parallels the plot of the French novel The Camp of the Saints, a favorite among white nationalists as it warns of the destruction of Western (white) civilization due to massive immigration from Third World countries.
