Alex Jones Celebrates Tucker Carlson Coming To His Defense: ‘Appreciate His Courage’

As more and more attention has been focused on InfoWars founder Alex Jones and whether he and his site should be allowed to have access to major tech and social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube, the far-right conspiracy theorist saw a Fox News primetime host come to his defense. And Jones is extremely appreciative of the kind words.

Speaking to right-wing columnist Charlie Hurt Thursday night, Tucker Carlson brought up the White House banning CNN’s Kaitlan Collins from a Rose Garden event as punishment for asking President Donald Trump tough questions at a photo-op. Carlson acknowledged that Collins used to work for him and he doesn’t think “she should have been prevented from covering anything, that’s my position on that.” He then pivoted to slamming CNN for over its recent reporting on Jones and InfoWars.

“CNN has been basically a martyr for free speech for the last 24 hours,” Carlson, who has appeared on InfoWars in the past, said. “At the same time, they are telling us how important it is that people should be able to say what they think, they are agitating for Alex Jones to be pulled off YouTube.

He continued, “Now, I know we’re supposed to think that Alex Jones is way more radical than, like, Bill Maher, or Michelle Wolf, or Rosie O’Donnell, but he’s got a point of view, and CNN is trying to squelch his point of view.”

During one of his broadcasts on Friday, Jones — who recently saw his personal Facebook account suspended and numerous videos removed from the site — celebrated Tucker’s defense of him. After playing victim about being unfairly targeted over some of his “crisis actor” claims and other recent inflammatory remarks, Jones then offered up some kind words to Carlson for having his back before introducing Tucker’s video clips.

“Let’s go to Tucker Carlson, appreciate his courage,” Jones stated. “Then there’s another Tucker Carlson clip, it’s really powerful, CNN’s Brian Stelter says he should be banned for it basically. Because it’s SO true.”

He went on to describe another Thursday night Tucker segment in which the Fox News host claimed that “Americans are an afterthought” to the Democratic Party while making the case that Democrats were going to use non-citizens to seize power.

“He’s on fire,” Jones added, before handing it off to his team to play the Tucker videos.

It should be pointed out that Jones is currently being sued by Sandy Hook families for defamation after spending years claiming that the 2012 mass shooting was a hoax carried about by crisis actors. And, just this month, Jones raised eyebrows by threatening Special Counsel Robert Mueller while pantomiming a shooting motion.
