Roseanne Barr Will Sit Down With Fox’s Hannity For First Post-Firing Television Interview

On a very busy night for news — hello Cohen-Trump tape — Fox News dropped a little programming note.

What was it? Nothing much. Just disgraced comedian Roseanne Barr sitting down for her first television interview since she was fired by ABC for her racist tweets comparing former White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett to an ape. And it will be with Fox News star Sean Hannity.

The interview will air on Thursday night’s broadcast of Hannity with additional portions shown the following night. Fox News is stating that Barr “will react to reports about the tweet that got her fired along with discussion of President Donald Trump.”

Barr saw her hit sitcom revival canceled in the wake of her offensive tweets. She has since claimed that she was let go due largely to her vocal support of the president.

One wonders just how tough of an interview this will be considering that Hannity is considered one of the president’s biggest defenders in the media and has been described as the White House shadow chief of staff.
