Mike Huckabee: Obama Pretends To Be A Christian And Discriminates Against Real Christians

Over the past two days, former Arkansas Governor and current Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has been trolling the current occupant of the White House regarding Pope Francis’ United States visit. In an appearance on Newsmax TV Tuesday, the cherubic homophobe proclaimed that the President is a fake Christian due to Huck’s perception that Obama has made it extremely tough for real Christians to practice their faith in this country. He also criticized POTUS for inviting a number of pro-gay rights and pro-choice Catholics to the pope’s White House speech on Wednesday.

Speaking to Ed Berliner, Huckabee first stated that he disagrees with GOP opponent Ben Carson’s assertion that a Muslim should not be President of the United States. In the former Fox News personality’s opinion, the Constitution states that no person seeking office should be subjected to a religious test. Of course, that was the last rational thing the Huckster said, as he then flipped back to uber-Bible thumping Huck and pointed out that what truly matters is how faithful a person in office is to their religion.

This was when he went in on Obama because that’s what Huckabee does. He told Berliner that he believes that the President is faking his Christianity and it is an insult that he invited so many objectionable folks to be in the pope’s presence.

“I’m less concerned about what faith a person has. I’m more concerned about the authenticity of their faith and how that plays out in their policies. I’m also concerned about a guy who believes he’s a Christian and pretends to be and says he is, but then does things that makes it very difficult for people to practice their Christian faith.

“I’m disappointed if a person says, ‘I’m a Christian,’ but you invite the Pope into your home and then you invite a whole bunch of people who are at odds with the Catholic Church policy. I think there’s something very unseemly about that.”

The Newsmax interview wasn’t the end of Huck’s trolling, mind you. He sent out multiple tweets kissing Francis’ ass while simultaneously talking shit about Obama.

On Wednesday, while Pope Francis and Obama spoke in front of thousands gathered at the White House, Huckabee put together a Vine that suggested that the President was somehow responsible for infringing on Huck’s best bud Kim Davis’ religious freedoms.

Yeah, OK. Anyway, that putrid scent you picked up is the air of desperation coming from Huckabee’s campaign.
