Fox News Host Doubts Accurate Voter Fraud Report He Read Aloud, Blames Teleprompter

Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth reported accurately that there has been no documented voter fraud significant enough to change the outcome of the presidential race.

President Trump and some of his allies have continued to make false and unsubstantiated claims that widespread voter fraud allegedly benefitted President-elect Joe Biden, despite plenty of reports to the contrary.

Hegseth did his part on Saturday by casting doubt on this fact just after it came out of his own mouth.

He began by mentioning several pro-Trump rallies expected to take place around Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

“The demonstrations are in support of the president’s effort to reveal voter fraud and count all the legal votes,” Hegseth said. “So far, state election officials have not reported serious irregularities with the vote that would affect the outcome of the race.”

Then he added: “That was in the teleprompter. I read it. I don’t even know if I agree with it, but that happens sometimes.”
