Pro-Trump Cleveland Mailing Company Botches Delivery of Tens of Thousands of Ballots

Cleveland mailing company Midwest Direct delivered nearly 30,000 ballots to the wrong addresses in Pennsylvania last week, The New York Times reports.

Several counties in Ohio and Pennsylvania reported they never received the ballots they ordered, leaving local officials scrambling to acquire ballots with less than three weeks before the election.

“They overpromised and underdelivered,” said Diane Noonan, director of the Butler County Board of Elections.

The company flew a ‘Trump 2020’ flag at its headquarters this summer. Richard Gebbie, its chief executive, said he had “no opinion” on President Trump’s false attacks on vote-by-mail and criticisms of the U.S. Postal Service.
