Trump Approvingly Quotes Fox’s Andrew Napolitano After Previously Calling Him ‘Dumb’ and ‘Nasty’

President Donald Trump quoted Fox News’ judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano on Tuesday to support his former associate Roger Stone. This is despite the fact Trump attacked Napolitano over impeached. The judge came out hard against Trump’s actions on Ukraine.

“Judge Jackson now has a request for a new trial based on the unambiguous & self outed bias of the foreperson of the jury, whose also a lawyer, by the way. ‘Madam foreperson, your a lawyer, you have a duty, an affirmative obligation, to reveal to us when we selected you the existence of these tweets in which you were so harshly negative about the President & the people who support him. Don’t you think we wanted to know that before we put you on this jury,” Trump tweeted.

“Pretty obvious he should (get a new trial). I think almost any judge in the Country would order a new trial, I’m not so sure about Judge Jackson, I don’t know,” Trump continued, citing Napolitano as the origin of the quote and tagging him.

However, in April last year Trump attacked Napolitano and praised lawyer Alan Dershowitz for ‘destroying’ him.

“Thank you to brilliant and highly respected attorney Alan Dershowitz for destroying the very dumb legal argument of ‘Judge’ Andrew Napolitano,” Trump said.

“Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO,he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,” he  said.

Trump has also referred to Napolitano as ‘nasty’ and repeatedly claimed he wanted to be appointed to the Supreme Court, without providing much evidence.
