Hope Hicks Is Returning to the White House to Work for Jared Kushner

Hope Hicks is set to return to the White House two years after leaving her position there. Hicks, who served in two separate roles in communications and worked closely with President Donald Trump, is to become counselor to the President and senior adviser to Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law.

“She has always impressed me with her quiet confidence, loyalty and expertise and I am beyond thrilled to welcome Hope back to the White House,” Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said.

Hicks left the White House in 2018 and later began working for the Fox Corporation, albeit not as an on air personality. Many were surprised at Hicks’ original appointment to the administration as she was widely considered unqualified.

Kusher, who is married to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, has been given a broad portfolio of issues and most recently unveiled a ‘deal of the century’ Middle East Peace Plan that was instantly rejected by the Palestinians and elsewhere condemned as a kind of Apartheid.
