Fox’s Kilmeade Mocks Democrats Who Want To ‘See Behind That Black Rectangle’ In The Mueller Report

Fox & Friends’ Brian Kilmeade had some fun at Democrats’ expense Thursday morning. Kilmeade openly mocked attempts to gain access to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s full, unredacted report, which Kilmeade claimed was unnecessary.

In a segment about the House Judiciary Committee holding Attorney General William Barr in contempt, Judge Andrew Napolitano told the Fox & Friends hosts that in his view the country was not in a constitutional crisis but rather a political situation.

Napolitano was shown footage of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi joking about arresting members of the Trump administration, including the Treasury Secretary, for not releasing Trump’s tax returns.

“That’s a political statement,” Napolitano said. “We all know why politicians on both sides of the aisle make political statements. I don’t know what the President’s tax returns have to do with this. We’re talking about the redacted portions of the Mueller Report. The real clash will come when the House Judiciary Committee subpoenas Bob Mueller himself and the President says I don’t want I don’t want you to testify.”

“So we’re not in a crisis, we’re in a clash,” Steve Doocy said.

“Correct,” Napolitano said.

“This whole thing was an insult to one’s intelligence and logic,” Brian Kilmeade said. “Because they don’t care about the unredacted, redacted. No-one says if I could only see behind that black rectangle I would know, my life would be complete.”
