Ann Coulter Has Racist Meltdown, Targets Asian And Jewish Reporters For Harassment

Here’s a shocking headline — right-wing provocateur and on-off Trump fan Ann Coulter is doing something racist.

In response to a Media Matters report on an ICE senior adviser who frequently shared her anti-immigrant columns that included bigoted rhetoric, Coulter went on the attack against the story’s writer, Eric Hananoki, and attacked him for being Asian-American.

“An Asian is going to explain racism to us,” she wrote in one tweet. “Apparently it has nothing to do with black people. It’s all about IMMIGRANTS.”

And it went downhill from there. Coulter accused Hananoki of only caring about immigration because it was a “personal benefit” to him as an Asian.

Coulter, who has over two million Twitter followers, also posted Hananoki’s photo while sarcastically calling him “Racism Slayer” and wondering why anti-racist jobs go to Asians.

After Hananoki’s colleague, senior fellow Matthew Gertz, came to his defense and noted that Coulter was having “another racist meltdown,” Coulter turned her attention to Gertz, calling him the “back-up Racism Slayer” while referencing his father.

“Oh! I just thought of a new civil right for you guys at Media Matters to celebrate: Asians & Jews who think they’re black,” she added.

Meanwhile, Gertz noted that his father doesn’t work in the hedge fund industry and that Coulter knows exactly what she’s doing with her dog-whistles by signaling to her followers that he’s Jewish. And, just like clockwork, the anti-Semitic attacks began.

Others, including some associates of Gertz and Hananoki, soon weighed in and came to the conclusion that, indeed, Coulter was having a “racist meltdown.”

Reacting to Coulter’s tweets on Gertz and Hananoki, MMfA communications director Laura Allison Keiter told Contemptor the following:

“Ann Coulter is a bigot who openly embraces white supremacy and everyone knows it, which is why it’s such a concern — though completely unsurprising — that ICE senior adviser Jon Feere is a superfan of her work. Coulter’s racist immigration stance which has served as the inspiration for President Trump’s declaration that Mexicans are sending rapists, drug dealers and criminals into this country has also clearly informed ICE’s aggressive anti-immigrant posturing.”
