Fox Contributor: We Should Use Money For Housing Migrants To Teach Inner-City People ‘How To Be Clean’

During right-wing star Laura Ingraham’s Courtside Entertainment Group radio broadcast this morning, a frequent guest and occasional guest host attempted to field test a new conservative talking point related to asylum-seeking migrants, this one related to money being spent on housing refugees. And if you thought we had already reached the racism critical mass when it comes to the migrant caravan, I have some bad news for you.

Raymond Arroyo, a Fox News contributor perhaps best known for a staged pratfall on Laura’s primetime Fox program that went viral, criticized Democrats in Washington for securing the southern border by just “throwing a few more dollars at the border police or creating a few more shelters.” This led him to highlight one particular shelter that Ingraham had claimed cost hundreds of millions of dollars but had only housed a handful of migrant teenagers.

“One facility, there are nearly 100 of them in the U.S., one of them costs $430 million a year,” Arroyo declared. “Where could $431 million a year be used in the inner-city?”

Yeah, you can already see where this is going. And, yep, it gets worse.

“On vo-tech programs, on bringing — teaching people how to be hygienic, how to be clean, helping them clean up their households — or remake the homes, the dilapidated homes of veterans, or get veterans off the street,” he said.

So, just to recap: The United States government should stop providing shelters to migrant children, some of whom it forcefully separates from their parents, in order to shift that money to the inner-cities to teach black people how to shower and clean their homes.

Laura agreed with Arroyo, saying there was a “lot we could do to help Americans turn their lives around” but instead the country is “pouring money down a rathole because of an open border.”

And one wonders why only one percent of Fox News’ audience is African-American.
