Lou Dobbs On Refugees: They Are ‘Attacking Our Border’ And Telling Us To ‘Go To Hell’

This week, a district judge blocked President Trump’s asylum ban that would deny asylum to refugees who crossed the border illegally from Mexico. “Whatever the scope of the President’s authority, he may not rewrite the immigration laws to impose a condition that Congress has expressly forbidden,” U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar wrote while issuing a restraining order against Trump’s policy.

During Tuesday’s broadcast of his Fox Business show, informal Trump adviser Lou Dobbs openly complained about activist judges “telling the president how to run the country” before taking the opportunity to denigrate asylum-seeking refugees as invaders who have no respect for American laws.

Speaking to The Daily Caller’s Christopher Bedford, Dobbs brought up the president railing against the 9th Circuit Court. After Bedford said they’ve had a “lot of problems with activist judges” and that Congress can fix this, Dobbs huffed that this was “an activist judge interfering with the president telling him how to manage the border.”

“And it’s a matter of, first of all, national security and secondarily, immigration,” he added. “These people are less immigrants than they are, in point of fact, attacking our border for the purpose of telling us to go to hell with our laws.”

What is it with Dobbs and saying “go to hell”?

The conservative commentator would then question Bedford for wanting to put in his lot with a Democratic Congress led by Nancy Pelosi, though he did feel there wasn’t much difference between outgoing Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and the Democratic leader.
