Trump Viciously Attacks April Ryan: She’s A ‘Loser’ Who ‘Doesn’t Know What The Hell She’s Doing’

Prior to heading to France for the weekend to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the World War I armistice, President Donald Trump stopped to speak to reporters and predictably tossed off a number of falsehoods, lies, and personal insults.

This included calling a female African-American White House reporter a total “loser” and “very nasty.”

Asked about the White House decision to revoke CNN correspondent Jim Acosta’s hard pass following a contentious exchange at Wednesday’s press conference and press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders falsely accusing Acosta of assaulting a staffer, Trump called Acosta a “very unprofessional man” who isn’t very smart. He then added that reporters need to treat the White House “with respect,” leading him to mention another reporter he despises.

“He does it for, you know, the reason, the same thing with April Ryan,” he said about the CNN contributor and American Urban Radio Network correspondent. “I watch her get up. I mean, you talk about somebody that’s a loser. She doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing.”

He continued, “She gets publicity and then she gets a pay raise or a contract with, I think, CNN. But she’s very nasty. And she shouldn’t be. She shouldn’t be. You’ve got to treat the White House and the office of the presidency with respect.”

The president also suggested during his remarks that he would consider removing the credentials of other White House reporters he dislikes, highlighting the fact that he wants to further escalate his continued war with the media as he obviously sees no downside in it at this time.

Later on, he would attack another female black reporter, CNN’s Abby Phillip, for asking a question about Special Counsel Robert Mueller, saying it was a “stupid question” and that she asks a “lot of stupid questions.”
