Fox’s Mark Levin Calls Brian Stelter A ‘True Sleaze Ball’ For Slamming The ‘Right-Wing Smear Machine’

Fox’s Mark Levin Calls Brian Stelter A ‘True Sleaze Ball’ For Slamming The ‘Right-Wing Smear Machine’

It would appear that Fox News host and conservative talk radio personality Mark Levin is none too pleased with a segment that ran on CNN this morning.

During today’s broadcast of Reliable Sources, CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter asked his viewers to put themselves in Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford’s shoes for a moment. After pointing out that Ford is now living in a hotel and “staring down death threats,” he moved on to the media fascination with her story while the president openly casts doubt on her allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were in high school.

Stelter then brought up the online “right-wing smear machine” that helped pushed false stories about Dr. Blasey, such as claiming she was unpopular with her students by pointing to a RateMyProfessor page that was of a different Christine Ford altogether.

“Seriously, I’m not making that up,” Stelter noted. “Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, The Drudge Report, and other bright lights of the right promoted this stuff. And this was just the beginning. All week long, actual news outlets have had to chase down and debunk lies about Ford.”

Following the show, Levin took to Twitter and lashed out at Stelter, stating he would “address Brian Stelter’s contemptible propaganda on radio tomorrow.”

“He’s a true sleaze ball,” the Life, Liberty & Levin host concluded.

Stelter responded on Twitter by noting that Levin tweeted out a link to the debunked story and claimed that “reviews by Ford’s own students over the years are worth reading. She’s widely panned. Take a look.”

“Grabien apologized,” Stelter added, referencing the outlet that initially peddled the false report. “Levin didn’t. He just quietly deleted the tweet. Sleaze ball?”
