Rudy Giuliani Claims Facts Are In The ‘Eye Of The Beholder’: ‘Nowadays, They Are!’

At the end of a multi-segment CNN interview, Trump attorney and ex-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani seemingly captured this current moment in history perfectly as he told anchor Chris Cuomo that the truth is really just a matter of personal opinion.

Having given another crazy-pants explanation of the whole Comey-Trump-Flynn saga that took up a large chunk of airtime and left every viewer dumber for having watched it, Giuliani spent the last couple of minutes addressing the story dominating the media cycle — Omarosa.

Regarding the president’s tweet calling the former White House aide and ex-Apprentice contestant a “dog,” Giuliani shrugged it off by saying “it’s horrible when you get betrayed by people you try to help and people you’re close to.”

After suggesting that Trump should just ignore Omarosa and her upcoming tell-all, Giuliani went on to declare that despite the president’s erratic behavior and tendency to viciously lash out he has achieved way more than any modern-day president.

“I think it’s a little early on that,” Cuomo retorted. “And if fact-counting is anything, we’ve never had anybody with the level of mendacity that he has. Not even close.”

“It’s in the eye of the beholder,” America’s Mayor shot back with his signature cackle.

“No, facts are not in the eye of the beholder,” the CNN anchor answered resulting in Giuliani to close it out by saying “yeah they are — nowadays, they are!”

If you wanted something for the time capsule to explain the Age of Trump, this will work just fine.
