Fox’s Juan Williams Reacts To Trump Calling Omarosa A ‘Dog’: ‘Doesn’t He Know He’s President?’

Omarosa Week is far from over, folks.

With former White House aide and ex-Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault Newman continuing the media blitz around her upcoming Trump tell-all Unhinged and providing secret recordings of Trumpworld to media outlets, President Trump took to Twitter Tuesday morning to fire back and toss some insults her way.

“When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out,” he wrote. “Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!”

Trump calling an African-American woman a “dog” was immediately seen by many as having racial overtones and caused quite a bit of outrage on social media and elsewhere. Appearing on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria, The Five co-host and Fox News commentator Juan Williams reacted with a mix of confusion and exasperation over the president’s tweet.

“Again, you just wonder,” Williams told guest host Neil Cavuto. “Dog? What is he thinking? Doesn’t he know he’s president?”

Williams went on to say that the “best light he could shine on this” is that Trump is himself and this is who he is. He added, however, that he wishes Trump would show more “impulse control” when tossing out “offensive” comments like these, especially since Trump has to know how something like this would be taken.

“Os it intentional?” Williams pondered. “I don’t know> But it’s not good.”

Meanwhile, Team Trump has been scrambling throughout the day to deal with the fallout of both Trump’s remarks and the latest released recording by Omarosa in which Trump staffers could be heard discussing how to spin an alleged tape of Trump saying the N-word. Former Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson, was heard saying “he said it” and is “embarrassed” by it, has changed her story several times since claiming Monday night the call “did not happen.”
