Sarah Sanders To April Ryan: ‘You Don’t Know Much About Me In Terms Of What I Feel’

While former New York City Mayor and current Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani continued to set fires left and right, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had to face the music over Giuliani’s blockbuster comments.

Towards the end of an expectedly contentious press briefing in which she was asked point-blank if she was lying to reporters over the president’s suddenly shifting stories on the Stormy Daniels hush payment, Sanders was confronted by American Urban Radio correspondent April Ryan about Giuliani’s remarks to the press, specifically his Fox News hits.

After Sanders said she didn’t believe the ex-mayor did harm to the president with his interviews and that the White House press office wouldn’t coordinate statements with Trump’s legal team, Ryan wanted to know how Sanders felt about being “blindsided” by the chaos Giuliani has unleashed.

“I didn’t use that term,” Sanders replied, leading Ryan to explain she was using that term to describe what Rudy did to her.

“With all due respect, you don’t know much about me in terms of what I feel and what I don’t,” Sanders shot back.

Ryan tried to expand on what she meant, but by then Sanders was done and moved on to another reporter. Meanwhile, to be fair to Ryan, Sanders had said earlier in the briefing that she had only found out about Trump repaying Cohen for the Stormy payoff when she watched Fox News on Wednesday night. Therefore, using the term “blindsided” would be an accurate description of what Sanders had already noted.
