Trump Begins Off-The-Rails Fox & Friends Interview By Admitting He Didn’t Get Melania A Birthday Gift

Throwing it back to the campaign days, President Donald Trump picked up his phone and called into his favorite program Thursday morning. It would be imprecise to call this an interview, as the president spent the majority of the time rambling and ranting on a wide number of grievances. This included minimizing Michael Cohen’s role in his life while admitting Cohen represented him in the Stormy Daniels case, hinting at firing Robert Mueller, praising Diamond & Silk, complaining about CNN panels, and standing by Ronny Jackson even as it was reported Jackson had withdrawn his nomination as VA secretary.

So, you know, just a normal Trump conversation.

At the very start of the call, the leader of the free world wanted the curvy couch sitters to know the main reason why he decided to do a phoner with them — it was the First Lady’s birthday.

“I picked a very, very special day because it’s Melania’s birthday,” Trump declared. “I said let’s do it on Melania’s birthday.”

It would also appear that his morning call to a handful of sycophants doubled as a present to his wife, as the F&F folks soon discovered.

“Hopefully there’ll be visits in between,” Brian Kilmeade said. “Can you tell us what you got her?”

POTUS responded that “maybe I didn’t get her so much” before adding that he got “her a beautiful card and some beautiful flowers.” He also told Kilmeade that he is “very busy to run out looking for presents.” Insert your Executive Time and golf jokes here.

Anyway, the president went on to pivot to the wonderful job his wife did when the French president visited before we got into the main gist of the call, which was whining about grievances and causing headaches for his administration.
