Multi-Millionaire Sean Hannity Slams His “Overpaid Friends In The Media” As Out Of Touch

Leave it to a man who earns $30 million a year shilling for a celebrity billionaire to declare those who write for newspapers, websites and magazines as overpaid elitists.

Acting as personal fluffer for his bestie for life Donald J. Trump, Fox News’ Sean Hannity spent a segment of his program Tuesday night counting off all the ways Trump eviscerated the pantsuit-wearing Butcher of Benghazi AKA Hilary Clinton at Monday evening’s debate. Despite the vast majority of pundits, papers, real polls, focus groups and breathing human beings stating Clinton dominated, Hannity said the media elites were overlooking one major thing.

ONLINE POLLS!

Ya see, Drudge, Breitbart and other websites who ran unscientific, opt-in, informal web surveys that allowed any Tom, Dick and Pepe to vote numerous times were the real guides from which we should judge Trump’s performance. Not some of that ol’ bullshit in which a polling firm used rigorously tested methods and chose from a diverse group of respondents after asking them a series of questions. No sir, a Drudge snap poll is the gold standard!

Anyway, after going down this road for a bit, Hannity went after reporters for making too much damn money, what with their limos and steaks and fine wines and what-not.

“Now, my overpaid friends in the media, well, they have their chauffeured limousines, they like their fine steakhouses and expensive wine lifestyles.”

Now mind you, Hannity flew Newt Gingrich on his private jet to go see Donald Trump when Hannity was trying to get Trump to pick Newty as his Veep. Also, his net worth is estimated at $80 million. He recently sold a house in Long Island somewhere in the neighborhood of $3.6 million. You’d be hard-pressed to find a member of the news media who makes more than Sean Hannity.

A number of those so-called “overpaid friends in the media” had some choice words for Sean:

But the really infuriating thing about Hannity’s snide little dig isn’t that he’s far richer than just about any other person this is intended to smear. No. Just like his boy Trump, he’s presenting himself as some working class hero, a man of the people, someone who spends his days in the trenches.

But he’s not. Never has been. Never will be. He’s just someone conning the rubes by selling snake-oil while laughing himself to sleep every night over how unbelievably fucking easy it all is.
