Trump’s Big Medical Release Is One-Page Letter From Same Quack Who Wrote Previous One

Following all this discussion over transparency regarding medical and tax records from both major-party presidential candidates, today’s release by Donald Trump could only be described as a thud. After all the bluster and hype, promising to reveal more detailed health information, the GOP nominee gave us another one-page letter that was written by the same doctor who gave us the much-ridiculed “healthiest president in history” one back in December.

On the same day of his appearance on The Dr. Oz Show aired where he discusses his health and general medical issues, the campaign released the letter to the press. Compared to the previous letter, Bornstein did provide more details, including test results, height/weight, medications to go along with general fitness opinions. Gone was the hyperbole, other than saying that Trump was in “excellent physical health.”

But, this was still a joke. One, Trump’s weight is listed at 236 pounds. Considering he’s 6’3″, there is now way he only weighs that much. It was previously reported that his weight was at 267 before that was changed to the now-listed 236. While 236 would still be considered overweight for his height, it’s not nearly as bad as pushing three bills. Just based on how he’s physically looked throughout the campaign, and his predilection for fatty fast food, put me in the camp of those doubting that weight is entirely accurate.

Another interesting thing to note is the doctor notes his testosterone level. This seems to me a personal request by Trump so everyone knows how virile he is. When John McCain released over a thousand pages of medical records in 2008, his testosterone levels weren’t listed. Yet, we get less than a page from Trump, and he makes sure he know that he can still get a boner.

Something else to pay attention to — Dr. Bornstein states Trump has only been hospitalized once in his life. It occurred when he was 11 and had an appendectomy. So I guess the real estate mogul never had to go to the hospital to deal with those debilitating bone spurs that prevented him from serving in the military? And what about the scalp reduction surgery that ex-wife Ivanka Trump described in 1989? No hospital visit either?

The fact is, the Trump campaign made a big deal about releasing medical records, especially in the aftermath of Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis. In the end, they gave us the same bullshit from the same quack that led to media mockery. Which leads me to ask this — will the mainstream press just report on this and let it pass?

  1. I’d like to see an interviewer pull out a scale and ask Trump to stand on it. I agree – there’s no way his weight is accurate.
