Jake Tapper Fact-Checks Katrina Pierson: “That Has Never Happened In The History Of The World”

Hurricane Katrina struck again Tuesday.

While Donald Trump has run through three different campaign managers in the past few months, one constant of his candidacy has been Katrina Pierson, the gaffe-prone, history-revising ex-shoplifter that serves as the campaign’s national spokesperson. When you see her pop up on your TV screen, you can absolutely rely on her duck-facing her way through an interview while she vapidly screeches factless bullshit.

During an appearance on CNN’s The Lead Tuesday afternoon, Pierson tried to push the Trump team’s latest talking points on Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables’ comments down the audience’s throat. However, host Jake Tapper, a veteran of Pierson’s unremitting assholery, wasn’t in the mood and decides to call her on her shit throughout.

At one point, the spokesperson attempted to redefine what the word Islamophobia meant. Hitting at Clinton’s remarks that many of Trump’s supporters are bigots, Islamophobes and xenophobes, Pierson stated that “people who want to stop ISIS from coming into their communities are called Islamophobic.”

After a few more seconds which consisted of Pierson labeling Hillary supporters as cop haters, flag burners and violent protesters, Tapper cut her off to deliver a KO punch.

“Katrina, no one has called people who don’t want ISIS to move into their neighborhood Islamophobic. That has never happened in the history of the world.”

Pierson exclaimed that that is EXACTLY what liberals meant when they called someone Islamophobic. Tapper then gave her the actual definition.

“People call people who hate Muslims Islamophobic. But people do not say that about people who don’t want ISIS to move in.”

I’m sure Donald Trump will have Pierson’s back by delivering a mean tweet Jake’s way later.
