Reporter Asking Trump About Cincinnati Gorilla Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

The shortened workweek got off to Trumptastic start on Tuesday as the Orange One himself decided to use his time attacking the press, as he is wont to do. The GOP nominee held a press conference to ostensibly reveal where he sent all the money he claimed he raised for the vets earlier this year. But, really, the whole thing was just a chance to soak up some free media while portraying himself as a victim of the dishonest media (i.e. his very favorite pastime.)

In between moments where he personally assailed the judge presiding over his Trump University fraud case and calling an ABC News reporter a “sleaze,” Trump fielded an extremely important and relevant question.

Yup. Apparently, Yahoo News’ Hunter Walker felt that the American people really needed to know Donald J. Trump’s opinion on Harambe, the Cincinnati Zoo gorilla who was shot and killed over the weekend. Walker seemed somewhat proud after the fact for asking this incredibly inane and idiotic question.

Well, Hunter rightfully took a shit-ton of heat from other members of the media for his silly question, especially considering that all three cable news networks were carrying the conference live.

It was a nice run America. We had some good times, some bad times, a lot of memorable moments. But I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.
