Donald Trump: I Don’t Want Guns In Classrooms…But Teachers Should Be Armed

It seems like every single day, we are presented with presumptive Republican nominee and Mexican pinata model Donald Trump either outright contradicting himself or backpedaling on a previous stance.

On Sunday, we witnessed both, as the Orange One called into his favorite show, Fox & Friends, to talk about his recent endorsement by the NRA and his love of guns. (Seriously, does anyone believe for a minute that Trump has ever shot a firearm?) The conversation turned to Hillary Clinton’s criticism of Trump’s blatant pandering to the 2nd Amendment crowd, where she stated that Trump is openly advocating for guns in schools.

Well, as you can only imagine, The Donald claimed Crooked Hillary was lying, and then went on to contradict himself while simultaneously trying to backtrack from a speech where he said we need to get rid of all gun-free zones.

“I don’t want to have guns in classrooms, although in some cases teachers should have guns in classrooms, frankly, because . . . things that are going on in our schools are unbelievable. I’m not advocating guns in classrooms, but remember in some cases — a lot of people made this case — teachers should have guns, trained teachers should have guns in classrooms.”

For fuck’s sake, he can’t even go one goddamned sentence without shitting all over himself. But the curvy couch sitters didn’t push him one bit. I mean, it was just this weekend where he told a huge NRA crowd that guns needed to be in classrooms to stop active shooters. Then he goes to Twitter to rail against Clinton for rightly claiming he wants guns in schools. Then, when trying to reverse his position on Fox, he contradicts himself because fuck it, words don’t even matter and it won’t hurt him anyway.

In other news, recent polls show that Clinton and Trump are essentially tied in the general election. It was a nice run, America.
