Fox News’ Eric Bolling: ISIS Sees Obama’s Tears Over Gun Violence As “Weakness”

Well, that sure as hell didn’t take long.

During Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News’ The Five, lead host and Donald Trump fellatio expert Eric Bolling began the show by mocking President Obama for showing emotion at a press conference announcing executive orders aimed at curbing gun violence. After playing a clip from the announcement, Bolling then said the following:

“Now listen, we all get emotional when you hear children being killed. But where was that emotion for the victims of San Bernardino terror attack, and where’s the emotion calling Islamic terror what it is, Islamic and terrorism? Those tears, Mr. Obama, ya think ISIS sees them as emotional strength or weakness?”

Seriously, what in the actual fuck? I know we aren’t supposed to expect anything else from Fox, that it is all just infotainment for the ‘yell at the TV’ crowd, that people like Bolling are paid specifically to say stupid shit like this. But still, isn’t there a bottom of the barrel? And if so, and this isn’t it, when are we finally going to get to reach it?

Of course, while Bolling appeared to be the first in the Fox bunch to invoke THE TERRORISMS regarding Obama’s speech on Tuesday, he wasn’t alone when it came to reveling in one’s douchebaggery. Fellow Foxites Andrea Tantaros and Todd Starnes also couldn’t help themselves in terms of ridiculing a sitting President feeling sadness over the loss of young innocent lives.

Finally, for the uninformed, all President Obama did on Tuesday was pass provisions that expanded background checks, specifically when it came to the so-called gun show loophole. Moving forward, those who make a living selling firearms online or at gun shows will need to become licensed gun dealers and conduct searches on their purchasers. Additional measures will provide more funding for mental health research and to increase the number of ATF agents.

Sure, nowhere near what is eventually needed to greatly reduce the 30,000+ annual gun deaths in this country, but at least a push in the right direction.
