Sean Hannity Agrees With Guest That It Isn’t Bigotry To Say That Only “Muslims Might Blow Us Up”

While the entirety of Fox News has completely fallen off the cliff of sanity and embraced bigoted sensationalism and unhinged xenophobia in the shadow of last week’s Paris attack, Sean Hannity has made sure that he is still the clubhouse leader when it comes to hating Muslims and spreading apocalyptic fear. Seeing that his colleagues were going over the top with their own hyperbolic rants about how we are involved in a holy war with an entire religion, Hannity made sure to let them all know who was the big dog when it comes to Islamophobia and beating war drums Wednesday night.

During the broadcast of his primetime evening show, Hannity had a number of guests on to discuss just how much President Obummer doesn’t get it. You see, he is apparently an Islamist sympathizer — contributor Dennis Miller’s words — who is trying to force Americans to accept dangerous Mulsim terrorists under the guise of political asylum by telling those opposed that they are being bigots. Also, as we all know, he is totally feckless and weak when it comes to containing ISIS, probably because he’s on their side.

One of the guests Hannity brought on was Robert Spencer, an avowed anti-Muslim extremist who runs a site called Jihad Watch and has been banned from entering the United Kingdom (along with Pamela Geller) due to his hateful rhetoric. At one point, Hannity turned to Spencer and asked him his thoughts on Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, essentially wanting to know why they suck so much fucking dick regarding their handling of the Middle East.

Spencer, as he is wont to do, not only pissed all over the administration, but also pointed out that only Muslims are are a violent threat whereas Christians are not.

“Well, it’s insane to the point of suicidal. Just today the Turks arrested eight Islamic State operatives who were posing as refugees on their way to get into Europe. And so, what the president and John Kerry are not getting, what they’ve never addressed is the possibility of jihadis among the refugees and yet that’s the whole big elephant in the room that has everybody concerned about the refugee problem. He tried to make into a religious — a problem of religious bigotry saying some people want to only take in the Christians and not the Muslims. Well, the reason for that is that Muslims might blow us up and the Christians are not going to.”

At another point in the show, Hannity went off on his own racist rant, essentially claiming all Muslims that have moved to America are radicalized and will be terrorists. He said anyone who has ever been exposed to Sharia law can easily Bring in terror and fearmongered over the number of immigrants the country has taken in who are Muslim.

This is what passes as journalism on Fox, especially after a violent terror attack. They bring on guests and contributors who are nothing more than extremists who make inflammatory and divisive comments under the umbrella of analysis and expert commentary. This is than gobbled up by all the retirees and drunk uncles that make up their audience, who in turn spout it out at any opportunity, whether it be on Facebook or at family gatherings.
