Will This Emotionally Powerful Image Change Europe’s Attitude Towards Refugees?

This small child was one of the roughly 13 Syrians who drowned off the coastal town of Bodrum in Turkey.

The European leaders continue to increase the force to prevent refugees and migrants to settle in the continent, and in return, more and more refugees are dying in their attempts to flee the persecution of their homelands.

A young boy, who has been identified as Aylan Kurdi, 3, was found face down on a beach near the Turkish resort of Bodrum, after a tragically failed attempt to sail the Mediterranean to Kos, Greece.

The coast of Kos has become the leading destination for those trying to reach Europe.

Reportedly, 2,500 people fleeing the violence, oppression, and poverty have drowned while trying to reach the Europe coast by sea. Will Europe’s leaders recognize their failure to deal with the refugee crisis?
