Scott Walker Thinks United States Should Really Consider Building A Wall Along Border With Canada

In the ongoing saga of GOPers trying to out-Trump current Republican Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, Governor of Wisconsin and vacant-look connoisseur Scott Walker appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday and indicated that he’d build even more walls around the United States than the Trumpster. While The Donald’s whole campaign has revolved around his promise to get rid of rapin’ Mexicans and erect a magnificent 1,900-mile wall along the southern border, Walker told Chuck Todd that perhaps we also need to cock-block Canada.

In a 30-plus minute interview, much of which was shuffled off to NBC’s website, the flailing GOP White House hopeful stumbled through questions regarding his poor approval rating in his home state, his inability to directly answer whether he supports birthright citizenship, how he’d replace the Iran deal and why neighboring state Minnesota seems to be faring much better than Wisconsin despite its more liberal policies. As is normally the case with Republicans, the answer is, and shall always be, blame Obama.

At one point, however, Walker was asked about his thoughts on border security and how it relates to terrorism threats. Todd wanted to know if Republicans so concerned with terrorist groups coming into the United States, why aren’t any of them talking about the northern border with Canada? Why are they just talking about Mexico? And just like that, Walker took the bait and made sure to declare that he thinks we should really look into building a super-huge wall along the U.S. – Canada border.

“Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire. They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at.”

Just so you know, President Walker will make sure that the entire United States is encased in a massive wall surrounding all of its land borders. Not sure why he should stop there, though. Why not propose sea walls to stop all the damn boat people? Huh? Maybe some mines and drone strikes. Also, make sure you take up Chris Christie’s idea of marking all foreign visitors with scannable tattoos so they can be tracked 24/7.

We are only two-plus months into the Trumpification of the 2016 general election. Still have more than a year to go. Will this country survive the GOP primary?
